My name is Greg Inkmann. I came to visual arts through my 20 year career as a chef. My interest in ice carvings led me to go back to school and get a BFA from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Aviation has been close to my heart since I built my first balsa airplane as a youngster.
I express in sculptural form my fascination with flight and do works that deal with irony and whimsy. The color, shape and three dimensional movement of aircraft are integral to the design and execution of my aviation art.
I do commissions and self initiated works. My works have been purchased by private collectors, Washburn University and corporations. I have a display case of my work for sale at the Combat Air Museum in Topeka, Kansas.
